Get ready for an epic challenge in Destiny 2's newest dungeon - Vesper's Host! Launching on October 11, 2024, this dungeon introduces Contest Mode for the first time, promising intense battles and intricate mechanics.
Contest Mode
For the first time in Destiny 2, a dungeon will feature Contest Mode, which was previously reserved only for raids. This includes:
- Enemies being more aggressive
- Resurrection tokens
- Possible enrage mechanics limiting encounter phases or time
- Power level advantages removed above the recommended level
Dungeon Race
Vesper's Host will have an official dungeon race, similar to raid races. Key aspects include:
- Contest Mode active for the first 48 hours
- First three fireteams to complete it declared winners
- Special rewards for those who finish during Contest Mode
