What Are Portal Activities?

Destiny 2’s new Portal system, launched with the Edge of Fate expansion, completely reshapes how Guardians access and experience activities. Portal consolidates all core and seasonal playlists—such as Strikes, Nightfalls, seasonal missions, and PvP—into a single streamlined interface, allowing players to seamlessly jump between content.

Portal Activities are organized into four main categories:

• Solo Ops: Designed for solo players seeking flexible challenges and progression.
• Fireteam Ops: Three-player co-op missions, including replayable Strikes, seasonal content, and Onslaught.
• Pinnacle Ops: Exotic and endgame missions, now available year-round.
• Crucible Ops: PvP playlists grouped for fast access.
