Raid Launch & World First Completion
- The Desert Perpetual Raid from the Edge of Fate expansion entered Contest Mode on July 19, capping Guardian power and disabling specific gear for balance.
- After a competitive 15+ hour race, Team Nuts secured the World First clear, officially recognized by Bungie. Contest Mode restrictions now end, and the standard raid is open to all players who own the Edge of Fate expansion.
- The raid takes place in the enigmatic realm of the Nine, unfolding new storylines and mechanics tied to the post-Light and Darkness arc.
Raid Structure & New Features
- First-Ever Nonlinear Raid: Guardians can choose the order they tackle the first three main encounters—battling bosses Iatros, Agraios, and Epoptes—after a central introductory fight. Defeating all three unlocks a final encounter.
- Enhanced tactical flexibility means teams can optimize encounter routes and loot farming, a first for Destiny 2.
How does the service work
