Description
Equilibrium is the Destiny 2 dungeon from Renegades, released in December 2025. The Barant Imperium is raiding a Praxic temple on Venus, two Dredgen acolytes are stealing its relics, and you chase them from the temple grounds to the command ship Malphas Contemptus. The tagline: "Between fire and shadow, the path to balance."
The encounters
- The temple grounds. Break the Imperium forces and stow away on their Harvester.
- Harrow, Dredgen-Apprentice. The first thief, holding the stolen Praxic dossier.
- Dredgen Sere. The commanding Dredgen aboard the Malphas Contemptus.
Heirloom
The dungeon's Exotic is Heirloom, a Solar combat bow that fires explosive bolts and is strong against Unstoppable Champions. Its Bullwhacker perk overcharges the next bolt the longer you aim. The flavor text: "The antiquated design of this weapon suggests inheritance from a parent who fought in the old emperor's wars."
Weapons and armor
- Weapons. Trendsetter and Zealous Ideal auto rifles, High Tyrant pulse rifle, Voltaic Shade scout, Conspiracy Honed sniper, Bitter End machine gun, Sullen Claw sword.
- Sage Protector armor. Two pieces: sword hits return grenade and class energy. Four pieces: Blade Focus, a guard that powers up your next sword hits.
The Exotic quest The Way Between also runs through the temple: you return the stolen Praxic relics and face the shade of Dredgen Sere.

Requirements
What you need:
- Ownership of the Renegades expansion (required to access Equilibrium).
- Completion of the dungeon intro quest “The Way Between” from Aunor in the Tharsis Outpost Cantina to at least step 2, so the activity node appears on your map.
- A character at or near the recommended 370+ Power for contest-level tuning; lower power is possible but will result in reduced damage dealt and increased damage taken.
- A Destiny 2 account with cross-save enabled and access to the platform you want the coaching on (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, or Epic).
- For recovery services, temporary account access; for self-play carries, a working microphone is recommended for smooth, first-try clears.
