Crota’s End rewards depend on the route you select. The first completion of nine Crota’s End Triumphs gives 1 Essence each: the four challenges, In Unison, Feather-Light, Threatening Reach, Communal Rites and Singular Sensation. Broken Throne, the Master clear, gives 2: 11 of the 35 in total.
- Planning rule: pick challenges, hidden chests, the Deepsight Chest, the element run, the catalyst unlock or the Triumph Package before checkout. They change how the run is routed, so the team plans for them from the first encounter.

Crota’s End Carry Service
Crota’s End is the raid against Crota, Son of Oryx. It has four encounters: the Abyss, the Oversoul Throne Bridge, Ir Yût and Crota himself. It needs no paid expansion and launches from the Raids and Dungeons node of the Director.
A full clear, the Crota checkpoint, Master difficulty, challenges, chests, the Deepsight Chest, an element run, the catalyst unlock and the Triumph Package are different jobs with different reward expectations. Pick the one that matches your goal; the cheapest route is the Standard Boss Checkpoint at $9. Your coach plans the run with you in the Dashboard chat, and every encounter is played by hand.

Important Reward Rules
- The guarantee is the route, not the drop. You get the completion, checkpoint, challenges, chests, element run, catalyst unlock or Triumph work you selected. Which weapons and armor drop, and their rolls and stats, is decided by the game.
- Necrochasm is not sold as a drop here. No option on this page guarantees the Exotic. A clear gives you the rewards the game awards, nothing more.
- Featured weeks pay more. When Crota’s End is one of the two featured raids, encounter and challenge loot is farmable as Deepsight weapons or Tier 5 armor, and Master challenges can also drop Adept weapons. Raid Rotator shows the current pair.
- Outside featured weeks, a Standard clear gives a chance at Deepsight weapons and Tier 3 armor, while Master, challenges and the Deepsight Chest give Deepsight weapons and Tier 5 armor.
- Triumph rewards are one-time. Essence of the Oversoul, the emblem, shader, ship and sparrow come with the first completion of each Triumph. The Deepsight Chest is once per reset.
If you only need one specific weapon or armor piece, do not overbuy a full raid package. Use the route or related product that matches the exact target: Crota’s End Weapons Farm for weapon copies, the Crota’s End Armor Set for armor, or Necrochasm Exotic Auto Rifle for the Exotic.
FAQ
Is Necrochasm guaranteed?
No. A clear or the Boss Checkpoint gives you the final-encounter reward; it does not override Destiny 2 RNG, and no option on this page sells the Exotic as a guaranteed drop. If the auto rifle is your goal, check the Necrochasm Exotic Auto Rifle page.
Should I choose a full clear or the Boss Checkpoint?
Choose the full clear when you need the whole raid: the loot of every encounter, challenges, chests or Triumph progress. Choose the Boss Checkpoint when Crota and his reward are the only objective. It is the cheapest route, $9 on Standard.
Are challenges, chests and the Deepsight Chest part of a normal clear?
No. Each one is a separate add-on, and the Deepsight Chest is once per reset. They change how the run is routed, so choose them before checkout and the team plans for them from the first encounter.
Can I target exact rolls or armor stats?
The team can farm toward the selected reward path, but exact perk rolls, red-border patterns, armor stats and extra drops remain governed by the game unless support separately agrees to a custom manual route.
What do I need for the Necrochasm Catalyst add-on?
Necrochasm itself has to be on your account, as the option name says. The add-on covers the catalyst unlock; the 35 Essence of the Oversoul that finish the catalyst are sold separately on Necrochasm Catalyst. Triumphs give Essence too, the first time only: 1 each for the four challenges, In Unison, Feather-Light, Threatening Reach, Communal Rites and Singular Sensation, and 2 for Broken Throne, the Master clear. That is 11 of the 35.
