Upon completing the Godslayer Seal, you'll be granted the exclusive "Godslayer" title, showcasing your mastery over the Hive Gods. Additionally, you'll receive a unique Godslayer-themed emblem and a powerful triumph score boost. The satisfaction of overcoming one of Destiny 2's greatest challenges is a reward in itself.
Description
To earn the Godslayer Seal, you must complete a series of demanding triumphs. These include defeating the fearsome Hive God, Oryx, in the King's Fall raid, as well as his sisters, Savathûn and Xivu Arath, in their respective encounters. Additionally, you'll need to complete various other tasks, such as collecting calcified fragments, completing the Court of Oryx, and more.
To tackle the Godslayer Seal, you'll need a well-coordinated fireteam of experienced Guardians. Communication and cooperation are key, as these encounters require precise execution and teamwork. Ensure that your team is well-equipped with the appropriate weapons and armor, and that everyone understands their role in each encounter.
Tactics
- King's Fall Raid: Focus on mechanics and assign clear roles for each Guardian. Utilize high DPS weapons like Whisper of the Worm or Sleeper Simulant for boss encounters.
- Savathûn Encounter: Prioritize add control and use weapons with strong crowd-control capabilities, such as Trinity Ghoul or Xenophage.
- Xivu Arath Encounter: Employ a mix of close-range and long-range weapons to deal with both the boss and her minions. Divinity can be particularly useful for debuffing Xivu Arath.
- Court of Oryx: Coordinate with your team to quickly dispatch the bosses that spawn. Supers and heavy weapons can make short work of these encounters.
Recommended Weapons:
- Primary: Hand cannons like Midnight Coup or pulse rifles like Chattering Bone for precise damage.
- Special: Shotguns like Heritage or First In, Last Out for close-range encounters, and sniper rifles like Succession or Adored for long-range precision.
- Heavy: Swords like Falling Guillotine for burst damage, machine guns like Commemoration for add clear, and exotic options like Anarchy or Deathbringer for sustained DPS.
