What Are Arms Week Challenges?
Arms Week is a specialized, one-week event in Destiny 2 focused on weapon mastery and experimental upgrades. Each event highlights a unique weapon archetype (e.g., hand cannons, shotguns, trace rifles) and delivers exclusive quests, volatile mods, and loot that’s only obtainable during the event window.
Your main goals during Arms Week:
- Complete Ada-1’s Initial Calibration Quest at the new Shooting Range in the Tower.
- Finish daily and weekly event challenges, such as eliminating targets, playing Arms Week PvP matches, and landing kills with featured weapon types.
- Earn event XP to progress a dedicated reward track—score currencies, weapon rolls, and holofoil variants.
- Collect Combat Telemetry and Event Tokens to purchase exclusive weapons and upgrades from Ada-1’s shop.
- Try powerful volatile weapon mods (only active during the event).
- Take on the special Arms Week: Hardware PvP playlist—abilities and supers disabled, volatile mods enabled for a pure gunplay test.
