Description
Atlas passive points decide what your endgame looks like in Path of Exile 2: which league mechanics show up on your maps, how often, and what they drop. The Atlas Points Boost earns the amount you choose, from 12 to 72, and spends them in the branches you ask for.
Where the points come from
- League mechanics. Breach, Delirium, Ritual and Expedition each have their own tree and their own points.
- Pinnacle bosses. Each mechanic ends in a pinnacle boss, and beating it is what pays out points for that mechanic's tree.
Why it matters
An empty Atlas means a thin endgame: fewer mechanics on the map, fewer drops per run. With the points spent early, every later map gives more for the same Waystone.
Where it fits
- After the campaign. The Atlas opens with Maps, so the Campaign Boost comes first if you are not there yet.
- Before bossing. Pinnacle fights are easier on a character with a full Atlas.
You can also go straight for the bosses themselves: Xesht, King in the Mists and Olroth.
