Description
Trials of Osiris is the weekend PvP event of Destiny 2: eliminate the other fireteam or capture the zone, and string wins together on one ticket. Seven wins with no losses open the Lighthouse, a "unique reward space for the best of the best", as the game describes it.
How Trials works now
- Every weekend, Friday to Tuesday. Except Iron Banner weeks, when Trials takes a break.
- One to three maps. Since Monument of Triumph each weekend draws its arenas from three map pools instead of one fixed map.
- A weapon pool, not one weapon. All Trials weapons can drop every weekend, and the Lighthouse chest pulls from a weekly featured pool.
What the Lighthouse holds
The rarest Trials cosmetics come from the Flawless chest. Exotic ships like Chitin King, Featherweight and Hushed Syrinx and Ghost shells like Khufu Shell all list it as their source. Two emblems ask for more than one Flawless card:
- Lighthouse-Keeper. Win games on a completed Lighthouse Passage after a weekly win streak of five or more.
- Dazzling Iridescence. Go Flawless with a Flight of the Pigeon medal for each win.
Progress that stays
Every match also feeds Saint-14. Monument of Triumph restored his reputation rank track, and Trials engrams now focus into Tiered Trials gear, including armor and weapons from The Edge of Fate, Ash & Iron and Renegades.
