Description
The Wager Match Event opens Modern Warfare 4 Season 1. Trophies are the currency: you wager them, win more, and spend your total on the event's Mastery Rewards. It runs across Multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone.
Gauntlet 1v1
The heart of the event is Gauntlet 1v1, a Gunfight playlist in Multiplayer. In Activision's words: "Wager your trophies and eliminate the enemy to secure the win. The winning player stays to face another opponent. Win multiple matches to claim the waged reward." There is no team to carry a bad round, which is why the event is harder than its reward list looks. DMZ and Warzone have their own event challenges.
The two Apex Attachments
- Hyeon Auto. Converts the Hyeon Burst to fully automatic fire, "built for laying down stable, rapid fire" with a big jump in sustained RPM.
- Kastov 545. Rechambers the Kastov 762 for 5.45x39mm, with smoother handling and faster follow-up shots.
The rest of the rewards
Mastery Rewards also include an Operator skin, a weapon blueprint and a weapon camo. The top three winners of the event get extra rewards on top. Activision notes that no money or items of real-world value are available by participating.
