Description
Quests are how ARC Raiders tells the story of the Rust Belt. The traders of Speranza "will send you on quests that will tell the story of the Rust Belt and reward you for your help", and the chain keeps growing: Frozen Trail alone added 22 new quests on October 8 along with improvements to the quest system.
What to know about the quest line
- Quest rewards. Completing quests and quest objectives grants XP. Traders also award weapons, gear and crafting materials for completed quests.
- Quest items matter. If you lose or sell a quest item, such as the Equatorial Sundial needed for "Clean Hands", that quest can't be completed; Embark lists this as a known issue.
- Expedition choice. The fifth Expedition offered an option to keep quest progress instead of resetting it. Expeditions are currently paused.
- Photo objectives. Frozen Trail updated several older quests to require pictures taken with the new Camera.
Picking quests
Quests unlock in a chain, so the ones you can take right now depend on what you have already finished. Pick the quests that are open in your log, or the ones standing between you and a reward you want, like a blueprint, a project or the next trader story beat.
