Description
Traxus is one of Marathon's six factions, alongside CyberAcme, NuCaloric, MIDA, Arachne and Sekiguchi Genetics, and its upgrade tree includes weapon and weapon mod unlocks. Its Armory also sells a Traxus themed weapon.
The Traxus upgrade tree
Every faction has an upgrade tree with capstone rewards you earn each season, and its own family of head, torso and leg implants. Traxus's tree includes:
- Weapons. Overrun, Retaliator and the KKV-9SD.
- Weapon mods. Chips, Mags, Muzzles, Optics and Specialty Mods, each in Enhanced and Deluxe tiers.
- Prestige mods. Traxus also offers Prestige mods, such as Triple Barrel, which costs a Synapse Cube.
Where Traxus shows up now
Traxus and MIDA run the two Armories behind Ordnance Heist from November 10, and they share the Night Marsh exclusive contracts. Lockdown events on Dire Marsh pay Traxus reputation. On October 6, the Nightfall Refresh reset Faction levels and restored Faction aftermarket upgrades to their default state. It also reduced rank reputation requirements for all factions to suit the shorter release.
Pairs well with Marathon Weapons Farm and MIDA Faction Upgrades.
