Overwatch Anniversary Event Brings Groovy New Cosmetics & More

The Overwatch Anniversary Event is back, and you know what that means! It's time to grind for those legendary loot boxes and unlock those Cosmetics you've been eyeing up or may have missed during a season event. Through June 8, log in and let the festivities begin!

In addition to opening up all past event skins, the Overwatch Anniversary Event brings some new additions this year. Ana, Echo, and Wrecking Ball all get new event skins that can be unlocked through weekly challenges, and Baptiste, Doomfist, Junkrat, Sombra, and Moira all see event skins added as a new loot crate item.

Ana's new Cybermedic skin is first up on the weekly challenges. By completing 9, 18, and 27 games in Arcade, Competitive, or Quick Play, players can unlock the Cybermedic player icon, Ana's event spray, and the Cybermedic event skin.

The next weekly challenges will feature Wrecking Ball and Echo's challenge anniversary skins, and will likely follow the same game pattern of 9/18/27 games. Keep in mind, wins count as 2 games, so with a good team (or the CarrySquad) you'll breeze through these in no time.

The other skins can be unlocked with lootboxes, but since the event brings back all previous event skins as loot drops, it might take you a bit to find what you're looking for unless you're willing to shell out the coins for it. In addition to skins, there are a variety of new emotes, voicelines, and more to add to your Hero Gallery!
