The Moogle Treasure Trove Event Returns to Final Fantasy 14
Everything about this year’s Moogle Treasure Trove in Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XIV
The Allagan Empire was a civilization of many secrets. Secrets they kept on Tomestones of numerous types. More and more types have been discovered over the years, some more common than others. And, some very diligent Iterant Moogles discovered a new type to be obsessed over and are bribing all warriors of light to develop an obsession with them as well. The Iterant Moogles have got some very rare items to trade for these new Irregular Tomestones of Verity, and they’re more than willing to hand them out. The Moogle’s Treasure Trove will begin July 25th and end when the maintenance for patch 6.2 begins.
Irregular Tomestones of Verity will be able to be found in a number of locations when the Trove commences. The list is extensive, but don’t feel the need to memorize, all locations and activities associated with the Treasure Trove will be marked with a Moogle icon. The Raids that award the new Tomestones are The Orbonne Monastery, The Ridorana Lighthouse, The Royal City of Rabanastre, Alphascape V1.0-V4.0, Sigmascape V1.0-V4.0, and Deltascape V1.0-V4.0. The Dungeons are The Praetorium, The Keeper of the Lake, The Lost City of Amdapor, Haukke Manor (Hard), Castrum Meridianum, The Aurum Vale, and Dzemael Darkhold. 4 PvP Activities and 4 Trials will also reward the new Tomestones. Onsal Hakair (Danshig Naadam), The Fields of Glory (Shatter), Seal Rock (Seize), and The Borderland Ruins (Secure) are the PvP Activities. The Trials are The Porta Decumana, The Cloud Deck, Castrum Marinum, and Cinder Drift.
And for journeying through these dangers, there are quite a number of rewards, over 40 in fact. These range from Demon Brick earrings to a ten-set of Magicked Prisms. There are two orchestrion rolls, eScape, and Seven Hundred Seventy-Seven Whiskers. There’s a set of riding maps for Thanalan, a number of triple triad cards, several mount whistles, and horns, with two especially notable mounts being the lupine Lunar Kamuy and the giant gorilla Ufiti. And that barely scratches the surface of what these Iterant Moogles are offering for these Irregular Tomestones of Verity.
With so much to look forward to Patch 6.2 and onwards, the Moogle Treasure Trove is the perfect lead-up to the day. With quite a lot of loot up for grabs, the land of Eorzea is sure to be a busy one in the coming days. Make sure your warrior of light makes time to dip their hands in the Moogle Treasure Trove, as Irregular Tomestones of Verity will not be useable once Patch 6.2 goes live.
