Guardians Prepare, Season of the Splicer Begins Tomorrow!

Destiny 2's Season of the Splicer is set to begin today, and the new season is sure to bring a lot of exciting new changes. In addition to more than a dozen new weapons, this season sees the return of Trials of Osiris as well as the Vault of Glass.

For players to obtain the new weapon additions, they'll be put to the test in multiplayer modes. The 12 weapons will be split up into four each for Gambit, Crucible, Vanguard, and Strikes. Additionally, season pass holders will be able to get their hands on an Exotic new Sidearm and Shotgun.

Bungie has also detailed what players can expect from the new season in their roadmap. Trials of Osiris begins May 14th, and the Vault of Glass is set to launch on May 22. The Solstice of Heroes will kick off on July 6th and run through August 3rd. Not to mention, there will be plenty of Iron Banner events, Override missions, and Pinnacle missions along the way. As if that wasn't enough, there will also be an Epilogue event on starting on August 10th, two weeks before the season ends.
