Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer Week 6 Challenges
Week 6 of Destiny 2's Season of the Splicer is now live, bringing new weekly challenges.
Week 6 of Destiny 2's Season of the Splicer is now live, and with it, a new set of weekly challenges. If you're working towards completing the Master of All Seasonal Challenge, a new week means another step closer to claiming that victory. Even if you're taking a more leisurely route, each challenge carries the reward of large amounts of Bright Dust and XP.
There are 7 new challenges this week, and first up is Behind the Curtain. To complete, Guardians will need to complete Path of the Splicer VI, as well as defeat Champions anywhere in the game. If those Champions are defeated in Override or Expunge, you'll gain bonus progress as well.
Next, the Herculean Protocol challenge will have you defeat the Hydra Boss in Override, as well as Powerful Vex anywhere in the game. Again, there is bonus progression for kills made in Override, so you can work on knocking out both parts of this challenge in Override.
Eliksni Ally II seems to be setting up for some more Destiny 2 lore, as players need to raise their reputation to Rank 20 with the Splicer Servitor found at the HELM. Previous weeks have seen some interesting new plot developments regarding the Eliksni, so it should be interesting to see how this leads into future weeks.
The Shotgun Splicer Challenge can be completed by killing 150 enemies in Override or Expunge. For Sling the Stone, simply stagger, pierce, or disrupt 50 Champions to knock this challenge out. For the Feels Good to be Bad Challenge, players will need to defeat other Guardians in Gambit activities, with bonus progression if done so while invading.
Finally, there's the Red Hat Challenge. To complete this challenge, you'll need to earn Null Composure and kill 100 Guardians in the Crucible. In addition, you'll need to do so while raising your Valor rank 3 times. If you've done so successfully, you'll be rewarded with the Null Composure Crucible Ornament, Inferno Haldry.
Ready to knock out these challenges? Don't do it alone, team up with the CarrySquad to maximize your rewards. There will also be some new Vault of Glass Challenges, and if you don't have a team to play with, CarrySquad has you covered. Season of the Splicer is set to end on August 24th, which is just around the corner!
