Destiny 2 Season of the Lost is entering its fourth week, bringing nine new weekly challenges, as well as new challenges for various playlists. Additionally, a new Exotic Quest will feature this season's second Exotic Weapon, Ager's Scepter.
The Exotic Quest to obtain Ager's Scepter is the result of the variety of tasks Mara Sov has been handing out, sending Guardians to the Dreaming City. The quest features a variety of steps that'll send players to complete Astral Alignment activities, Parallax and Rifle Kill challenges, Champion Kills, as well as running Glassway, Disgraced, and Lake of Shadows strikes. Once complete, players will be rewarded with a chest containing Ager's Scepter, an Exotic Stasis Trace Rifle. The rifle's final blows create an area of effect burst that slows any enemies nearby, and can also slow and freeze targets.
Week 4's seasonal challenges will continue the story surrounding the Witch Queen's plans. There is also more to learn about who's controlling the Taken and how the Awoken met this fate. The main focus will continue to be upgrading the Wayfinder's Compass through various activities. The quickest way to obtain a new Trace Rifle to help with these challenges is Ager's Scepter, which can be obtained through its quest. The week four challenges are Wayfinder's Voyage IV, Ley Line Mysteries, Astral Telemetry II, Astral Authority, Entertain Lord Shaxx, High-Value Hunter, Trials of the Tinker, Precision Calibration, and Vanguard Chosen.
This week, Guardians can also take on the Corrupted Nightfall Strike, said to be one of the toughest strikes to complete. Guardians will be facing off against Sedia, the corrupt Techeun. With a total of five encounters, this is also the longest strike, and features Hive, Taken, and Scorn enemies. Taking on Champions will also reward Guardians with double Vanguard reputation points for Zavala.
Crucible will feature Showdown in the playlist this week, pitting two teams of three against each other. Similar to Survival and Trials of Osiris, Showdown has two teams face each other to see who can gain the most kills each round, with the first team to win three rounds taking the victory for the match. Finally, Vault of Glass' Strangers in Time challenge will require 6 Guardians to coordinate in order to defeat the Wyverns at the same time within current and future portals. If successful, Guardians can look forward to Pinnacle Rewards from the raid.
