Destiny 2 October 15 Update - Trials of Osiris, Xur Location, and More!
Trials of Osiris returns to Destiny 2, as well as the exotic weapon merchant Xur. Earn Adept and Exotic Gear with CarrySquad.
It's Friday Guardians, and you know what that means! Trials of Osiris is now live in Destiny 2, giving Guardians another shot at earning exclusive Adept weapons and more. Stock up at the Exotic Weapons Merchant, Xur, who makes his weekly visit to the solar system.
The weekly, highly competitive event Trials of Osiris is back this week in Destiny 2. Guardians can go head to head on the Bannerfall map in this PvP event to earn rare rewards like upgrade modules, enhancement prisms, and rare weapons. For Guardians who can win 7 consecutive matches and go Flawless, the Adept Messenger Pulse Rifle will be an additional prize.
Trials of Osiris is not for the faint of heart, so you'll want to make sure you've got your best gear equipped to claim victory. Xur, the exotic weapon merchant, makes his weekly return to Destiny 2's solar system. Guardians can find him in the Tower this week, where he'll be in the Hangar on the back stairwell. His inventory this week contains the DARCI, STOMP-EE5, Synthoceps, and Transversive Steps.
DARCI is an exotic sniper rifle, and the Personal Assistant perk makes the gun highlight important info about a target when aiming down the sights to deal more precision damage. The ST0MP-EE5 exotic Hunter legs are equipped with the Hydraulic Boosters perk, which increases slide speed, sprint speed, and jump height. Synthoceps are this week's exotic Titan arms, which buff melee and super damage for eight seconds when surrounded by three enemies or more. With the Biotic Enhancements perk, Titans will have increased melee lunge range and improved melee and Super damage when surrounded, making them excellent for PvP and other activities. The Transversive Steps exotic Warlock legs will boast the Strange Protractor perk, which increases sprint speed and automatically reloads energy weapons.
Guardians can gear up for Trials with even more exclusive gear by taking on Master and Legend Lost Sectors solo. Today's Legend Lost Sector, Concealed Void, features a number of modifiers to challenge Guardians, and is recommended to have a 1320 Power level or higher. If successful, Guardians can get a piece of exotic chest armor. Hunters can get the Omnioculus, Titans can get the Cuirass of the Falling Star, and Warlocks can grab the Mantle of Battle Harmony. The Omnioculus grants Hunters a second smoke bomb, damage resistance while invisible, as well as increasing invisible allies' damage resistance and increasing your melee energy while invisible. Cuirass of the Falling Star increases Titan's Thundercrash damage greatly, and grants an overshield that lasts longer the further you have to run before hitting a target. The Mantle of Battle Harmony grants bonus weapon damage to matching subclass energy when your Super is full.
