Bungie has decided that their latest and biggest expansion for Destiny 2 needs a couple more weeks in the oven to bake to perfection. The release date for Shadow Keep and New Light is moving from the previously announced September 17th to October 1st.
Here are some details:
- The new Raid, Garden of Salvations, will be accessible on Saturday, October 5. It's a weekend Raid race and content.
- Moments of Triumph are being extended through September 17. That means you’ll have three more weeks to complete this year’s challenges.
- Bungie is going to run an additional Iron Banner contest the week of September 17.
- Cross Save will come online later this Summer! So you’ll have time to sort out your Cross-Platform Friend Lists well ahead of Shadowkeep.
It looks like there are no extensions for Solstice of Heroes though, so if you want that 2.0 Armor set before Shadowkeep, you better get grinding before the event ends on August 28th.
