Black Ops 6 Boosting: Camos, Calling Cards and Prices

Black Ops 6 weapons with official camos

Black Ops 6 boosting is mostly camos: every weapon has its own ladder, and the top camos need dozens of weapons finished first. Camo orders start at $12 a weapon, Nuke Calling Cards at $35.

Here is how the ladder works, where players get stuck, and what each rung costs.

Stuck on a Black Ops 6 camo?

Military camos from $12 a weapon, Gold from $15, Diamond and Opal from $19. A coach plays it on your account.

How the camo ladder works

Per Call of Duty's own progression guide, every weapon goes through three steps: Military, Special, Mastery. The final camos are Dark Matter in Multiplayer, Nebula in Zombies and Abyss in Warzone. Official source: Call of Duty, Progression preparation: what to unlock in Black Ops 6, part 2.

  • Military: nine camos per weapon. In Multiplayer you earn them with headshots, from Granite at 5 to Red Tiger at 100. Zombies uses critical kills and Warzone uses eliminations.
  • Special: two per weapon per mode, unlocked after all nine Military camos. Each has its own condition tied to how that weapon plays.
  • Mastery: Gold, then Diamond, Dark Spine and Dark Matter in Multiplayer. Zombies runs Mystic Gold, Opal, Afterlife and Nebula. Warzone runs Gold Tiger, King's Ransom, Catalyst and Abyss.

Gold needs the nine Military and two Special camos on that weapon. Diamond needs Gold on a set number of weapons in one class, for example seven assault rifles in Multiplayer. Dark Spine needs Diamond on 33 weapons, the launch weapon count, and Dark Matter needs Dark Spine on the same 33.

Military and Mastery camos are per weapon. A camo you earn on the AMES 85 does not unlock on any other gun.

Warzone has its own camo journey in Black Ops 6, separate from Multiplayer and Zombies. Each mode needs its own progress, so decide which mode you actually play before you buy.

Where players get stuck

  • Military on guns you never use. Headshot counts add up quickly when the weapon is not your main.
  • Special camos. Every weapon has its own conditions, so they stop feeling like one grind.
  • Diamond. Finishing Gold on one gun does nothing until you have enough Gold weapons in the class.
  • Dark Spine and Dark Matter. They sit behind 33 weapons, so this is a long haul.

Order the rung you are missing, not the top one. Opal also needs all Gold camos first. If you do not have them, take the All Gold Camos option on the Opal page or order Gold first.

Which rung to buy first

  • No camos yet: start with Military. It is one of the two cheapest rungs, at $12 a weapon, and everything else sits on top of it.
  • Military done: add Special, then Gold. Gold is the first Mastery camo and the gate to Diamond.
  • A full set of Gold: take Diamond or Opal for the class you play most, and build toward Dark Spine from there.
  • Only want the look on a few guns: order those weapons one by one instead of the All option.
