Apex Legends Legacy is Here, Bringing New Heroes, Game Modes, and More

The wait is over as Apex Legends Season 9 begins. Though the game has suffered from server issues since its launch yesterday, things are smoothing out so you can jump right in!

The new season offers some exciting new features, such as the new Legend Valkyrie. The pilot is a force to be reckoned with, and players will want to unlock her to bring a bit of Titanfall to the game.

Valkyrie can be purchased with 12,000 Legend Tokens, so you'll want to get to work grinding your core account to gain enough add her to your arsenal. That's not all Season 9 has in store - a brand new game mode, Arena, is here to test your skills. Arena is a 3v3 round based game mode complete with an economy system. To win, your team needs to win at least 3 rounds and be ahead by 2 points. At the start of each round, players will be given a short window to purchase weapons for each round. But choose wisely - your purchases won't carry over to the next round.

Need some tips to get started? In the first round, you'll want to skip the secondary weapons and grab yourself a solid long range gun, giving you an edge up on the competition.
